Front page
The newly under construction polar exhibit - The Arctic Ring in Copenhagen zoo will be completed by the year 2012. The project task was to promote the Zoo and we were to concentrate on the polar exhibit part, the arctic ring. Our website consist of four sub pages namely green project, glass tunnel, animal and architecture Therefore the website communicate the new approach in a user friendly, informative and lively manner.
Introduction
This project deals with developing a new concept which has never been applied in cyber space before, where a mixture of two factors - product and service - are provided by the same company.
Our target groups are adult aged between 25 to 55, our main message is the Morden futuristic architecture of the arctic ring and our slogan is come and see the modern Zoo. The website should be easy to navigate by the users and it should illustrate the expertise and proficient technical skills that went into developing it. It should be able to attract and sustain customers as it is intended to be part of our customer’s life.
This website will be dynamic, user friendly and functional. It is intended to be interactive as well as a having a harmonic visual design.
Concept
We have chosen to give our site a completely different design than the zoo's, it should be an adventure site, to appeal more to play, and thus to appeal to our audience.
It should be a site where you can see the animals alive in the form of a live cam, just to follow as much as possible, and have the feeling that you get up close and therefore becomes attached to the animals, personalize them and therefore also will want to visit them.
There must not only focus on polar bears, all the animals moving into the Arctic Ring must be followed on live cam and have just as much attention on the website.
Regarding to follow the animals' lives through live cam, there will be not to make it boring, announced some times, such as feeding times, so you can tap into that and see some action.
One must feel the joy of watching them play and frolic in their natural environment.
And you have to have a sense of closeness, and have the desire that you will follow them, if not every day that often, and thereby also want to visit them in the new facility.
We keep the Zoo's own menu bar that follows all the pages. We add the extra losses in a dark purple as it follows the gamut Zoo already have.

Problem Approach/Formulation
Our main idea was to make a website that attracts our target group and this are some of the question we asked ourselves based on our knowledge in the four subject area
- How should design elements be used to make an appealing user interface?
- How should the communication between users take place?
- How can the dynamic part of the website be made?
- How can users benefit from the concept of "The Arctic ring"?
In the beginning we had a problem in our group for instance, we couldn’t agree on the main message and slogan. We consulted our supervisor, thus he help us with some suggestion. We also got help from other teachers as well.

The font is Verdeans and Ariel because they go back to the zoo's website

Conclusion
We used a very simple design with less text in order to help our target group get the message clearly.
Visually our choice of colours, design and graphics is so appealing to our target group with first sight message, “”.the Morden futuristic architecture of the arctic ring.
Interaction part, we used HTML and CSS, these are powerful message systems that easily improve member’s interactivity.
Finally we thank all our group members, supervisors and all those who have contributed positively for the success of our project.
